A Tecna delegation will also be present at the show for international promotion of the event
The upcoming 2024 edition of Coverings, North America’s preeminent exhibition of ceramic tiles and other surface covering materials, will be held from 22 to 25 April in the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.
As always, Acimac will be participating in the show with a delegation of ten Italian companies organised in cooperation with the Italian Trade Agency ITA. These companies are BMR, Cami Depurazioni Green Technology, Certech, Cosmac, Gruppo Tecnoferrari, Italforni, Poppi Clementino, Sacmi, Surfaces Group and System Ceramics.
A total of more than 1,000 global exhibitors from 40 countries worldwide will be presenting their latest innovations and trends at the show, making it a prime opportunity to establish valuable international contacts. The event also offers a unique chance for the Italian Ceramic Machinery and Equipment Manufacturers’ Association to demonstrate the unique quality for which the “Made in Italy” trademark is renowned, especially in the North American market.
North America is a highly dynamic market, with the United States currently holding the position of the world’s largest tile importer with imports of more than 200 million square metres, while producing 87 million sqm domestically. In 2022, Italy exported ceramic machinery worth a total of €179 million to the NAFTA region, accounting for 10.6% of its total exports. This marked a significant increase over the previous year (+123.4%), driven by investments in the USA and Mexico. Like other industry exhibitions, Coverings will provide a valuable opportunity for the international promotion ofTecna, the international surface technology show to be held in Rimini from 24 to 27 September.
