The Italian ceramic machinery industry records an average turnover per employee of € 321 thousand per year. Taking a closer look at the data emerging from the MECS Study Center surveys, there is greater efficiency in large businesses: companies in the fourth size class, with revenues over € 10 million, achieve an average turnover per employee of € 386 thousand per year, higher than the average of the industry.
Firms in the third size class, with annual revenues between € 5 and10 million achieve a turnover per employee of € 179 thousand. These are followed by firms in the second class (turnover between 2.5 and 5 million €/year) with 163 thousand €/employee. Last, firms in the first size class with production results of less than 2.5 million €/year and profit per employee of 112 €/year.
