Italian exports count for 72.1 % of the industry’s sales destination. Most important destination are European countries (31.6 % of total exports), followed by South East Asian countries, with 15.3 % share of Italian exports, followed by the Middle East (15.1 %), South America (12.9 %) and North America (10.6 %). The remaining 16.5 % share of exports goes to non-EU European countries, Africa, the Far East and Oceania.
