Prospects for growth in both markets are positive, with the 2024 – 2028 CAGR projections forecasting a rise of 5.9% for India and 2.6% for Brazil.
In terms of exports, South America (with Brazil as the dominant market) – stands as the second largest target area for Italian of ceramics technology exports, with over €300 million and 17.5% of the market share recorded in 2023, again with Brazil accounting for approximately 70%. South-East Asia, led by India, ranks third with €296 million in exports and 17.2% of the total, with India producing 30-40% of the volume.
