Acimac concludes its 2023 calendar of collectives with the event in Vietnam
ASEAN Ceramics Vietnam, Southeast Asia’s leading international trade fair devoted to machinery, technology and materials for ceramic and brick production, is returning after a five-year hiatus to the International Center for Exhibition (I.C.E.) in Hanoi, Vietnam. Due to be held from 28 to 30 November 2023, the show is the only event in the region that brings together the ceramic industry and the business community. It attracts more than 4,000 international exhibitors, visitors, experts and buyers from a variety of sectors including sanitaryware, home decor, ceramic tiles and furniture.
Acimac will offer international visitors an overview of the quality of Italian-made products thanks to a collective of no fewer than 16 companies, the largest foreign presence at the event. This large group will fill an area of almost 350 square metres in the exhibition centre. The following Italian companies will be taking part: Appel, Certech Group, Essepienne, Keran Ceramics, LB Technology, Mectiles Italia, Officine Smac, Poppi Clementino, Sacmi, Seedex, SCF Colorificio Ceramico, Setec Group, Stylgraph, Surfaces Group, System Ceramics and TecnoCer Italia. Tecna will also be present with a stand for the international promotion of the Italian trade fair to be held in Rimini from 24 to 27 September 2024.
Vietnam is the world’s fourth largest tile producing country with a 2022 output of 579 million square metres. In contrast to the global downward trend of -9.7%, Vietnam’s production grew by 4.5% in 2022, making it a geographical area worth watching closely. Southeast Asia, including Vietnam, is the second largest export destination for Italian ceramic machinery manufacturers, accounting for 15.3% of total exports and a value of €260 million in 2022.Acimac’s chairman PaoloLamberti commented: “The advantage of participating in trade fairs in the form of a large collective as we are doing this year is that we are able to demonstrate the quality of Italian companies and their products to visitors from all over the world. Although it sounds a little clichéd, unity is strength and events like these are the proof. We’re looking forward to being in Hanoi and meeting our customers and buyers in the region.”
